Dried apricots

Dried apricots are a type of traditional dried fruit of Hunza Valley. When treated with sulphur dioxide, the colour is vivid orange but without sulphur, it use to be more delicious to eat. Organic fruit not treated with sulphur vapour is darker in colour and has a coarser texture.
